Information very helpful

I had my cortisol levels tested not too long ago. I have high levels at night, about the time I would normally be going to bed. I never realized that high cortisol levels at night would prohibit me from sleeping well at night.

After reading this article I realized that it is probably the main reason I do not stay asleep at night. I need to change some of my habits and change some of the things I do before I go to bed at night. I need to reduce a lot of stress I have also. I have lots of decisions to make about my health.

Just wanted to thank you for a great article.

Yes, it is certainly amazing that cortisol can have such a major impact on our ability to go to sleep and stay asleep at night.

I hope you manage to reduce your cortisol levels at night so you can get a better quality sleep. Perhaps consider using an Adaptogen like Rhodiola in conjunction with performing some relaxation exercises or meditation before you go to sleep.

This makes why I have trouble losing weight when I have been eating right make sense.

How can I reduce this stress? How can I stop going into "starvation" mode?
