The body has a limited capacity for storing glucose. It can store some in the liver (about 100 grams) and some in the muscles (about 400 grams).     Everyday you should drink at least 250mls of water for every 10 kilograms of body weight you have. This will ensure proper functioning of all body cells and therefore efficient use of fat for fuel.

    Keep in mind that feeling thirsty is not a good indicator of when to drink water. If you feel thirsty it means your body is already dehydrated.

    4. Walk every morning before breakfast

    When you wake up in the morning you have been fasting for the previous 6-8 hours (assuming you haven't made yourself a midnight snack) and your blood glucose (sugar) is low.
