Here are some free workout plans to include in your weight loss program. These weight loss exercise programs are particularly good workout routines for women to perform. Best of all, they are completely free workout routines.

Most people never even consider resistance exercise (weight training) when it comes to achieving their weight loss goals. The truth is, resistance exercise is the most under-estimated way to lose weight fast!

Of course, most people think that if they do some sort of resistance exercise they will ‘bulk up’- nothing could be further from the truth! Sure, if you eat an excessive amount of calories you will ‘bulk up’ if you’re doing resistance exercise, but if you’re controlling your calorie intake and you lift weights regularly it is impossible to put on weight or ‘bulk up’.


In fact, by doing the resistance exercise you will actually be preserving your muscle mass, which will help to keep your metabolism elevated and will help you burn off body fat / lose weight fast.

An important note is that if you don’t do some form of resistance exercise in your weight-loss program then it is highly likely that up to half of the weight you lose will come from muscle tissue.

Since muscle is one of the most metabolically-active tissues in the body, a loss of muscle means that your metabolism will slow down, making further weight loss more difficult.

If, however, you don’t want to go to a gym, here is a workout routine for women that you can do in the comfort of your own home.

Of course, it isn’t as effective as exercising in a gym but at least you will be preserving your precious muscle mass and therefore keeping your metabolism elevated.
