It caught my attention

by Sal Maimone

Hi Steve
Like all your articles it is easy to understand and straight to the point.

Up to five years ago I was very active with weight training (20 years) and martial arts (35 years), I am now 52 .. 95kgs and with a couple of compressed vertebrates, and putting on weight that just doesn’t want to move.

I have tried the “high carbohydrate low fat diets” with little or no results and after reading you notes it now makes sense.

But I must take some of the blame, coming from Italian origin; it’s hard to get away from the pasta and the bread, and mums cooking every Sunday.

I have a first born getting married this October, and I am determine to lose the weight so I could look good walking down the isle with my princess.

So thanks for all the great advise, I‘ll start by eating smaller and more frequent meals, and lots of walking with the aim to lose 20kgs by October .

Again many thanks Steve, your inspirational articles are a wake-up call to all.
