Here is a list of low carbohydrate foods that you can use when selecting carbohydrates to consume on a daily basis (your daily carbohydrate intake). By emphasising these foods you will be able to dramatically accelerate your weight loss efforts.

The main reason why emphasising these foods in your diet works so well in helping you burn fat fast and lose weight is because they don't stimulate, and may even suppress, insulin release from the pancreas.


Since insulin is a lipogenic (fat storing) and anabolic (tissue building) hormone, it is a double-edged sword whose production/ release in the body must be carefully controlled if maximum fat burning and weight loss is desired.

Accordingly, eating more low carbohydrate foods (protein, fat and low density carbohydrates) and less high density carbohydrates is probably the number one nutritional recommendation for weight loss! It is even recommended before reducing your food intake simply because there are problems with reducing your food or calorie intake from a weight loss perspective.

For example, a reduced food intake results in the body slowing down its metabolis rate to accommodate for the reduction in calories.

Furthermore, anecdotal evidence suggests that you can eat even more food (calories) if you simply change the proportion of macronutrients consumed, i.e. more protein, less fat and carbohydrates.

Then, of course, changing the proportion of carbohydrtaes consumed, more low density and less high density carbohydrtaes will definitely assist your weight loss efforts even further.
