How to Lose Weight Quickly!

Here's how you can lose weight quickly, safely and easily when the warmer weather arrives.

Unfortunately though, many people scramble to try and lose the 'spare tyre' that they seem to have acquired over the winter months and resort to using incorrect approaches to getting the extra weight off. For example, they may use fad diets or try to starve themselves to get in shape. Ultimately, these approaches are doomed to failure.

However, it is possible to lose weight quickly if you follow several specific 'body-transforming' principles.

Before we cover the principles that will show you how to lose weight fat, it is important to keep in mind what sort of results you can realistically expect in one week. Is it possible to look like a supermodel after a week? Absolutely not! Can you make some major changes to your physical appearance in a week? Absolutely!

Lose Weight Quickly

In fact, you should be able to lose around 3-4 kilograms of body weight in seven days if you follow these guidelines exactly as outlined. However, you must realise that only around 300-400 grams of that will be actual body fat. The rest of the weight loss will come from retained fluid (water), some carbohydrate and some protein. Nevertheless, the difference this can make to your physical appearance is nothing short of extraordinary!

It is also important to realise that many of these principles are not what we consider to be long-term, sustainable lifestyle changes. Therefore, if you only make these changes for one week and then immediately return to previous lifestyle habits then it is inevitable that you will put the lost weight back on, and possibly extra weight as well! However, if after the week you can maintain some of the principles as closely as possible, you will be able to not only keep the weight off but will be able to progress your weight-loss results even further!

Okay, now let's cover the principles you need to follow in order to lose weight quickly. Remember, this is not going to be easy but rest assured if you're willing to commit to this plan for 7 days you will be amazed at how much your body can change!

Lose Weight Quickly Principle 1: Follow a low-carb, low-allergen, detox nutritional plan.

This type of nutritional plan is guaranteed to get rid of excess fluid from your body, maximise fat burning and improve your health all at the same time. It is the key to rapid weight loss.

The low-carb aspect means that your blood sugar will remain stable and insulin will be low. By keeping insulin low your body will be able to access and utilise fat as a fuel source more effectively and will be far less inclined to store fat.

A low carb intake also means that your body's stores of carbohydrates will become depleted. Since your muscles and liver store around 400-500 grams of glycogen (stored carbohydrate) and along with this around 1.5 kilograms of water, depleting your body's carbohydrate stores will help you lose weight quickly. In fact, you will achieve a rapid weight loss of up to 2 kilograms!

Allergens cause some degree of 'Silent Inflammation' in the body and an inflammatory response tends to cause fluid retention. Therefore, by avoiding foods that are potential allergens, your body is more inclined to rid itself of excess fluid, which will also help you lose weight quickly.

The detox aspect of the nutritional plan will help your body rid itself of any harmful toxins that may be stored in it. By doing so even more fluid may be excreted by the body.

You may notice that you feel quite nauseous, light-headed, dizzy and generally unwell for the first 2-3 days following this plan. However, this is completely normal and is a good indication that the nutritional plan is working.

Lose Weight Quickly Principle 2: Perform 2 exercise sessions each day.

Yes, you read that correctly, 2 exercise sessions a day, every day for 7 days! No excuses. We're all busy and we all feel tired in the morning sometimes, but if you really want to lose weight quickly then you must be willing to do everything necessary and exercising twice a day is absolutely essential!

Each session should last between 40 minutes and 1 hour and you must perform two sessions a day. Plus, of the 14 sessions you do in a week, between 3 and 5 of those sessions must be some form of resistance exercise. Resistance exercise (lifting weights) is the most under-estimated way to get results fast! Also, it will prevent you from losing too much muscle mass as you drop weight.

The other exercise sessions should be aerobic exercise and when we talk about aerobic exercise, we're talking about exercise! Not walking around the shops, doing the gardening or doing housework. It must be exercise, which means your heart rate increases, your breathing rate increases, your face goes red, you sweat, you get tired- simple!

Some examples of aerobic exercise include: 'power' walking (pounding the pavement at a brisk pace- not dawdling), jogging, cycling (a stationary bike is ideal), swimming, skipping, an aerobic exercise machine (rower, stepper, cross-trainer, etc.), aerobic classes or boxing.

In order to maximise the fat-burning and weight-loss effects from each exercise session it is best to take a thermogenic fat burner, like BCN's XLR8 Thermogenic, before each morning exercise session.
