Sign of High Blood Sugar

Here are the major symptoms of high blood sugar...

sign of high blood sugar

A major sign of high blood sugar is intense thirst. However, there are many symptoms of high blood sugar. In this article we will cover some of the indicators of elevated blood glucose levels.

We will also examine what options you have in order to overcome this condition that is now becoming a major problem in our society. The incidence of high blood sugar (hyperglycaemia) is growing at a rapid rate and leads to many diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, heart disease and stroke, just to name a few.

Here are the signs of high blood sugar. If you have any of these, you may need to immediately start using the steps we will cover later. They will help you to reduce blood sugar fast and even overcome certain diseases that result from dangerous blood sugar levels.

Sign of High Blood Sugar 1: Frequent, Intense Thirst.
If you are finding that you cannot seem to quench your thirst no matter how much you drink, then it may be a sign that you have some degree of insulin resistance resulting in dangerous blood sugar levels.

The increased thirst results from excessive urination (polyuria), leading to dehydration and perhaps also because of the high blood sugar level (the body may try to dilute the sugar).

Sign of High Blood Sugar 2: Frequent Urination (polyuria).
Polyuria is due to glycosuria (glucose in the urine). Glycosuria occurs when the blood glucose exceeds 10mmol/L. As a result of the osmotic effect, glycosuria leads to polyuria.

Sign of High Blood Sugar 3: Lethargy.
Lethargy results from the fact that the body has difficulty getting glucose into the body cells ( insulin resistance ). This means cellular functioning becomes impaired and negatively affects energy levels.

Sign of High Blood Sugar 4: Fasting Blood Sugar.
For the most accurate measurement of blood glucose, you can simply get a blood glucose monitor from your local pharmacy (drug store) and measure your blood sugar level directly.

It is best to measure your fasting blood sugar first thing in the morning. If the measurement is greater than 6 mmol/L then it indicates that you have some degree of insulin resistance If the measurement is greater than 7.8 mmol/L, then that indicates a diagnosis of diabetes.

There are many ways you can help your body lower its blood glucose levels. Click on this link to find out how to reduce blood sugar .

Here are some foods that lower blood sugar .

Also, I have designed a product that assists people in achieving normal blood sugar readings instantly. It is called GI Factor and is a combination of some of the world's most powerful glucose disposal agents .

I originally designed GI Factor for my dad who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes around 8 years ago. He has since managed to maintain normal blood sugar readings through lifestyle modifications, many of which are featured on this website.

GI Factor has also been effective in helping people lose weight by helping them maintain normal range blood sugar levels . It is also enormously beneficial for people who have some degree of serious insulin resistance (type 2 diabetics and women with poly-cystic ovarian syndrome).

Accordingly, if you are showing any sign of high blood sugar whatsoever you will need to start taking action to help your body overcome this condition.

You will need to start by addressing some of the causes of high blood sugar, which are generally lifestyle related.
